I think this is my favorite of the Haba foods than come in tins. One of the primary reasons is that at 1.9" diameter (the center hole measures about .8" in case anyone's curious), these pineapples are simply not a choking hazard, in spite of the age recommendation. They're .25" thick, and with the incredibly dense hardwoods that Haba foods are made out of, I don't think these could be broken even with intentional effort, so they're super durable. Each tin contains 7 slices of pineapple.They're really nicely made. The little cutout areas around the age effectively simulate real pineapple, and add a level of detail that many of the other 'canned' foods don't seem to have. The outer design of the tin is pretty straightforward. It isn't the prettiest of the tins Haba makes, but we have enough pretty tins, so no great loss there.
If you're setting up a play kitchen for your kids, these are an absolutely fantastic must-have!
