Click-clack ball track by HABA Review

The twin boys I watch (almost 3) love this thing! They sit & play with it for an hour @ a time. The balls do fall off the track sometimes but it's no big deal they just put them back on (99% of the time it is the green ball that has a flat end that falls off, the other two included balls seem to do just fine). It's an expensive toy but we love it & it's nice to hear the wooden rolling noises & bell tinkle rather than sirens or other annoying noises. Glad i bought it!

Haba Shep Review

My children both love this stacking toy and spend as much time cuddling it as they do trying to pull it apart/restack it. The problem is the age range listed here (6-18 months) is totally unrealistic. The Velcro attaches so well that my son wasn't able to pull them apart until he was almost 3! So it's a fun toy, but don't expect your 6 month old to be able to separate the pieces without adult assistance.

Soft Doll - Lotta - by HABA Review

I bought this doll for my 18 month old daughter for Christmas and she hasn't slept without it since! The clothes are colorful and much more durable than some other doll clothes she's received as gifts. Lotta has beans in her bum so that she can sit upright and has oodles of soft chenille hair that can actually be combed and put in a pony-tail. The doll is made of a nice durable canvas-type cloth and I continue to be impressed with its quality, especially with the tough love it gets from my toddler.

Haba Colorful Stacking Dice Soft Toy Review

We had this toy for more than a month already. Not sure my 7-month old quite understands all the things he could do with these dice, but he seems to be enjoying them anyway. I especially like the fact that these are very soft and flexible - I can leave them on the floor with the baby and not worry that he hurts himself if he rolls over them. They are also very light and easy for the baby to pick up. And they hold the shape just fine despite all the chewing and other wear.

Haba World Of Dragon Flip Book Review

I puchased this book after reading that it was one of Parenting magazine's top 25 toys of the year.When I got the book, I was very disappointed.There are only 4 sides, two big pages, and they flip either way, which is cool, but that's all there is.None of the animals or things move, and it's not that great.I will be giving it to my son for his birthday next week, and I hope he likes it more than I did!

Bought this toy as a gift for my 3 year old nephew, who loves trucks and the outdoors. It really does have a great smell (like a lumber yard), and the parts are movable, and look useful and durable. It's a decent size too. The packaging mentions how it is made of reclaimed wood and plastic which is nice since it's a gift. My only complaint is that there is a spot in the truck for a driver, but no figures came with it.

I purchased several Haba architectural building block sets for my six year old as she loves to build and learn.The blocks are durable, soft with no rough edges (no worries for splinters) and designed very well.I loved building the Colosseum with my six year old.It would be nice if there were pictures from all angles to refer to but nevertheless, we were able to build the set together which was great fun!

As an adult, I like to have a set of blocks like this on a table- with an open invitation to any of my guests to create something with them.Then with their permission, I take a picture of their creation... which becomes part of an ongoing household exhibit of what has been created with the blocks.

Haba Tiny Town Review

We got this when our boy was around 14 months, or so, and it has been great watching him go from doing nothing with this, to learning how to dump all the pieces on the ground, to slowly but surely learning how to put each piece back on the frame!

These are ultra high-quality wooden pieces, smooth to touch, with paint that does not flake or chip.The colors are bright, and the variety of shapes holds the child's interest.

There are several different ways to put the pieces on the frame, and several different designs you can make.

My son and I have had lots of fun with this, and he often points at the box on the shelf, asking me to take it down for him.Yes, the price is high, but you do get quality for the price, and at least for us, or son has really enjoyed this toy!

Squeak-Squeak Review

My little 7 month old showed excitement when he saw this on the computer, so I thought it'd be fun to see if he liked it in person. He does!
I've never seen one in stores so I wasn't sure what I was buying. All the center beads are connected by elastic. I had assumed the blue disks would slide on a rod, but they don't.The elastic allows the toy to be a touch flexible, so the mouse can bend a little.The little arms are connected by one rope, so they pull from side to side- a cute feature my baby figured out on his own.My baby doesn't like chewing on cloth, but he can't resist the little ears- even though he wrinkles up in disgust each time-so cute. The shape of the face is perfect for sucking on, which is why I was glad he "chose" the mouse over the bear or frog. I wish the mouse had a tail, but that's just for me.

HABA Palazzo Review

I ordered this for my 9 month old's Christmas present. It is adorable. I thought she would enjoy it, and I would enjoy it not being plastic. She does like to play with it. We play peek a boo with the 2 mirrors, and find the princess with it. It can close up and you can take it anywhere. We take it to church, it's a good toy for that because it is quiet. It is well made and pretty. My only drawback is that I thought it was bigger. It's small enough to fit in my diaper bag, though.

HABA Chilly Swing Seat Review

i think every parent should have a swing in the house.I swing with our baby on my lap in this swing every day.My 5-year-old loves it as well.Although it holds up to 200lbs. it took a good six months before we broke in the seat so it was more comfortable for an adult to sit in.the bucket part of the seat is short enough to be very comfortable for a child but a bit too short for the legs of an adult.most people buy this for their children, but I really intended on using it myself and it has been wonderful!We bought a larger screw attachment for our ceiling at lowes for about $1.50 just for that added security.

Haba Land of Dragons Stacking Puzzle Review

These are the best blocks I have ever come across. The "stacking" part is what really sets these blocks apart from others. These keep my 1 year old son entertained for long periods and provides calm play time for him. The quality is the best I have seen. THey kinda remind me of a nostalgic toy that I would have had as a child. Certainly this is one of those treasured toys that I will hold on to forever. It's a keeper. Soft Doll Amelie - by HABA Review

I got this doll for my one-year-old when she started showing an interest in baby dolls. It is very well made and I can tell it will last a long time. It is not really soft; it feels like it's packed tight with sand. (I'm sure it isn't, but that's what it feels like.) My daughter still snuggles it, though.

The one very minor complaint or warning I would have is that the skirt and shoes are difficult to get onto the doll (even for me), and the shirt and shoes have short strings for tying. No big deal if your child isn't very interested in dressing and undressing it over and over, demanding your help and screaming if you're too busy. ;)

Biofino Vegetable Basket Review

My 1.5 year old & 5 year old received this basket of vegetables for Christmas.
This wooden crate comes with 2 carrots, a banana, a scallion, and 2 tomatoes. The banana peels apart and you can take the inside out. The scallion does not come apart.
Both kids love this veggies basket.

I just bought this for my tea-party loving daughter.It is perfect.Yes, the tea bags are small but they are perfectly sized for a child's tea party.Anything bigger would not fit into a child's tea cup/tea set.It is sized to scale.I would not buy an adult size tea set for my daughter; therefore, I would not but adult size tea bags.We love them.PErfect for the tea party with Dollie and Teddy.

Educo Switchback Racetrack Review

I did a lot of research and found that this one was the best one I could find on the market. When I got it I found it to be a very good toy.

It is a much larger size then other ones so your child can really get in to it.
It comes already assembled so you can have fun getting it out of the packaging with your child and create some excitement. Plus much less work for you.
It has two tracks instead of one so you can really encourageand engage your child to play by having races.
It is absolutely great quality, well built and will last.
The tracks are lined up and on the right angle so you don't have to worry about to much flipping off track and traffic jams.
It comes with 4 cars instead of just two. The cars are made specifically for the track and to flip over on it. They are also a decent size not to small or to big.

However it is expensive, and is a toy your child will really want to play with someone, not alone. So these things could be a draw back for some.

Also I looked on line elsewhere, as well as, in some catalogs that I get, and found Amazon to have the best price. Plus if you use standard shipping most retailers will ship it for free on Amazon.

Ballino Review

This ball is very well made, tennis ball sized.A bungee cord holds it together giving it the ability to bend from side to side producing a nice wooden clak.My 7 month old has had this for a few months and she definitely likes it.I admit I thought it was a bit of an odd shape for a baby to pick up but my daughter doesn't seem to care and has no problems with it and even seems to enjoy the unusual build of it.She still sucks on the ball although you would think that would be hard too.It looks fascinating when it's spun like a top.I imagine she will continue to like this ball as she grows and can start to really participate in rolling it about.As for us adults in the house, we find ourselves absently-mindly holding it and softly clacking it from one side to another- ahhh... baby toy therapy.

Haba Souri Doll Review

This is a very well made, very attractive doll. We've had this doll almost a year now. She's held up to daily use by a two year old (tugging, dragging, pulling, throwing, tromping over, etc...) and she's still in great condition! Her clothes are still in great shape as they weren't worn much post Christmas Day so we can't comment on the durability, but the colors and fabric are bright and intact. We do plan to get her doll some extra outfits from this company & based on the appeal & durability of Souri, Yannik will be arriving this Christmas as a little a brother for her! Haba Clown Blocks 41 Piece Review

We bought these for our daughter's first birthday. She enjoys picking them up and putting them down and is attracted to the bright colors. Her favorite use for them at 13 months is to chew on while teething. She's still too young to do much actual "building" with them, but my husband and I enjoy playing with them. They would make an excellent gift for an older child.

These are relatively sturdy high quality wooden blocks. Our Chihuahuas have managed to destroy a few of them, but they appear to be impervious to our daughter's banging and chewing. They appear to be safe and well-made and I have no concerns about letting her play with them. I would purchase them again and have requested that her grandmother buy her a second set for Christmas.

Haba 478 Baroque Building Blocks Set Review

I purchased several Haba architectural building block sets for my six year old as she loves to build and learn.The blocks are durable, soft with no rough edges (no worries for splinters) and designed very well.The only component that is missing is instructions.You do not receive pictures from all angles so therefore it is difficult to ensure that you building correctly.If there was at least a chart that denotes how many of each item that you should have in your box, it would make it a little easier.Nevertheless, a fun, challenging experience!

Ladybug Pacifier Chain Review

The paint has faded a tad from constant gnawing, but my daughter loves this pacifier chain. It is also very cute.

I like that it is long enough that it rarely gets caught up so that she can't get her binky to her mouth, and short enough that it doesn't tangle. The clip is sturdy and we use it every day. She can always find her binky to put it back in her mouth.

My only minor complaint might be that it is a pain to get a binky on and off, you have to loop it through the chain itself... but it isn't enough to make me mark it down... this chain has been a lifesaver.

Haba Russian House Review

I got these blocks for the children of a Russian/American couple I know.I think the Dad may have liked them the best, but it brought a little bit of their homeland here and they loved them.

The third party seller was also excellent to work with.I had to call their customer service to make sure they would arrive before the party and they were so kind and helpful.You just don't get customer service like that too much anymore.

These Russian blocks would also make an excellent gift for an art or architecture student.They are very high quality.

Rainbow Tower Review

My 1 year old daughter received the Haba Rainbow Tower as a gift for her 1st birthday.We have many Haba toys and they are made to the highest quality.We have never had any problems with any of them.However, my daughter nearly choked to death today on the top red piece on the Rainbow Tower.She managed to get the entire piece in her mouth and couldn't get it out.It was wedged in her mouth so tight that I couldn't get my fingers around it to pull it out.Thankfully I got it out in time.I would not recommend this toy for children under the age of 3.We were very lucky today!

Biofino Store Hamburger and French fries - by HABA Review
