My little 7 month old showed excitement when he saw this on the computer, so I thought it'd be fun to see if he liked it in person. He does! I've never seen one in stores so I wasn't sure what I was buying. All the center beads are connected by elastic. I had assumed the blue disks would slide on a rod, but they don't.The elastic allows the toy to be a touch flexible, so the mouse can bend a little.The little arms are connected by one rope, so they pull from side to side- a cute feature my baby figured out on his own.My baby doesn't like chewing on cloth, but he can't resist the little ears- even though he wrinkles up in disgust each time-so cute. The shape of the face is perfect for sucking on, which is why I was glad he "chose" the mouse over the bear or frog. I wish the mouse had a tail, but that's just for me.
