Pyramid Review

I don't understand why the recommended age for these blocks is so low. I don't think a small child would be capable of assembling the design or understand what they were doing.

My 7 year old received these for Christmas and has put the pyramid together five times in two days - it's his favorite present. I think it's appropriate for kids up to age 11 or so - very educational as you have to explore the engineering through the shapes as you are building. He became very interested in Egytians and the pyramids as he was building and was really in awe of the design.

One caution - I ended up putting numbers on the bottom of the blocks, so that he could follow the directions himself- some of the pieces look similar.

I am an educator and was keeping track of all the great thinking skills involved in this activity - I definitely recommend it.
