I had purchased this for my daughter for Christmas. I didn't read the sizes and when I received it, I realized it was way too small for my 22 month old.However, Lots of possibilities for pretend play. Would be great for a child to add to her tea party to serve her Barbie's, My Little Ponies, dolls, stuffed animals, anything! It's really cute for that kind of play.
Could also be great for a pretend kitchen. To maybe set as a "candy dish"on the counter or something.
I do allow my daughter to play with them when I am present and we sort the colors and count. (So, it can be educational too!) I try to teach her how to play with them in her kitchen and with her doll.
Just note the small size and be sure your child is ready for it. They really are adorable, durable, unique and fun. The tin they come in is a real little tin. Not a cheaply made toy at all. Lots of hours of play to be had here.
