Cute idea but also stupid..a lot of filling..a bunch (around 40 little pieces) little pieces
stuffed inside the pita. My little ones get it scattered everywhere. Ends up mixed in all their
toys. would be great if the pieces were sewed inside the pita or maybe velcro so it would stick.

My daughter and I love to play with pretend food, and she has several food sets.She has always wanted a submarine sandwich, so this is perfect for her.It would be nice if there were more kinds of meat and cheese(there's only pepperoni and swiss), but that can be easily solved by cutting more pieces out of felt.She has several Haba items, and they've all been big hits.

Haba Biofino Sliced Lunch Meats Review

I had high hopes after receiving the biofino bread.This just wasn't up to the same standard.The bread is very realistic and textured and this is just printed felt.It is thick felt though.Overall my son was very pleased and it's just the right size for the bread.I was just expecting it to be as life like.Not bad for the price.

Biofino Vegetable Basket Review

My 1.5 year old & 5 year old received this basket of vegetables for Christmas.
This wooden crate comes with 2 carrots, a banana, a scallion, and 2 tomatoes. The banana peels apart and you can take the inside out. The scallion does not come apart.
Both kids love this veggies basket.

Biofino Store Sandwich - by HABA Review

I was excited to find this sandwich on here - we don't have a lot of space and the cloth/felt version (as opposed to the larger wooden sets) seemed like a good option. The sandwich came today and certainly is cute - it's just a little smaller than expected (even after reading the dimensions I was a little surprised - I need to get used to Haba proportions, although I think it probably is a better size for my son's hands than the sandwich I was imagining). The pieces inside are all felt (besides the crinkly lettuce) and seem sturdy enough considering they are really just small strips of cloth, and the bread is nice and squishy, much more like real bread than our wooden pieces.

My reason for the four stars rather than five is really that the magnets inside the sandwich are not very strong or effective in keeping the bread pieces together. We have other magnet toys that are much stronger and I was expecting these to be the same. The two bread pieces stay togetherwhen pressed firmly w/nothing between them, but when you add the felt all bets are off. I think it would be neat if the slices in between were made of magnetic material and/or the magnets in the bread were strong enough to hold a sandwich together w/pieces in between (this would also be better for storing the sandwich pieces - right now I'm a little nervous the little felt squares and circles may get lost in our play fridge space). Anyhow, overall we're happy with this purchase, I just hope we can keep all the pieces together.
