Motley Pacifier Chain Review

I loved the look, the feel, everything about this chain until this weekend.I bought at christmas for my son, he is now 4.5 months (2 months later) and teething, puts everything in his mouth and sucks on everything.Well the wetness caused the wood to crack on three beads, I noticed it in time, a small bit of pressure with my fingers and was able to break all three beads into pieces.I am so glad this didn't happen when my son was playing with it, easy to choke on these pieces. If you use this item makes sure to check often for cracks!

Haba Pacifier chain Teddy Review

I have to disagree with Fiona Bessey-Bushnell about wood. It's wood, a perfectly safe natural material. Most cutting boards are made of wood and you don't see people complaining of the microbial nightmare while chopping food.

Being from Northern Europe, I am always amazed at how many toys in the US are made of cheap plastics as opposed to that durable and great natural material: wood. Maybe I'm old fashioned by I think wood has more "soul" and is nicer to the touch.

My nine month old daughter has plenty of wood toys and they spend most of their time on the floor. Most of them have been licked and sucked on at one point or another. This does not make her sick. Having an environment too clean may actually hinder the development of the immune system. That's one of the reasons why many doctors are skeptical about the current trend involving antibacterial soaps.

Wood can be easily cleaned. Rinse and if necessary wipe with a disinfectant wipe.

Ladybug Pacifier Chain Review

The paint has faded a tad from constant gnawing, but my daughter loves this pacifier chain. It is also very cute.

I like that it is long enough that it rarely gets caught up so that she can't get her binky to her mouth, and short enough that it doesn't tangle. The clip is sturdy and we use it every day. She can always find her binky to put it back in her mouth.

My only minor complaint might be that it is a pain to get a binky on and off, you have to loop it through the chain itself... but it isn't enough to make me mark it down... this chain has been a lifesaver.

Blossoms Pacifier Chain by Haba Review

This product is adorable.Baby loves to chew on it and we don't have to worry about plastics.She likes chewing on the toy more than the pacifier!We like it because we've been misplacing the paci around the house and this makes it hard to miss.We don't even have to clip it on, it's not going anywhere because it's nice and bright and big.But I do like the clip design.

Haba Pixie's World Pacifier Chain Review

My 5 month old has two HABA Pacifier Chains and loves to play with them. He chews and sucks and it entertains him for a long time. Not to mention it keeps his pacifier handy and clean. Definitely buy this, though he prefers the teddy bear one we have. (januari '10)
(March '10)I am updating this review two months later and meanwhile the bottom bead, the one with the heart, has split causing a choking risk. We removed the bead and the rest of the chain is still usable. We are having the same problem with the bear chain, the bottom bead is also about to split. We do use this all the time and it's my son's favorite thing to put into his mouth, so maybe all the drool is causing this. Not sure, but just a warning.
