Lucky Mushroom Set Review

This is one adorable little set for an infant; small enough for a young baby to develop grasping and teething skills, is stimulating and brightly colored. I was disappointed, however, with the fact that the seller did not disclose the fact that it is "Made in China" and, "designed in Germany by Haba", as stated on the tag. Due to the inherent dangers, we are trying to get away from the toys made in China, and despite what manufacturers may claim about the production and inspection process, I did not appreciate the deception whether intentional or not.

Additionally, the dwarf's face appears to be a sticker or iron on transfer that will crack, peel, or otherwise wear off over time with use, and is not embroidered on as the butterfly decor on its outfit is. For the price, I would expect it to be a bit more durable.

Piro Review

Piro is great.A very sturdy toy, and a very cute clown.I'm reassured that it passed German quality control as being nontoxic, because my daughter has diligently chewed on it, and undoubtedly consumed some of the paint.

Have you noticed the recent press about lead in the vinyl that the US testing agents feel is "safe" for our kids?Really?Lead is safe?Oh well, that is whyI avoid Chinese and American toys now.European standards are much more strict.

Anyway, a great, bendy little clown.Thumbs up from this dad.

I got this from a friend as a gift and my baby loves this toy! We don't leave the house without it. She loves to shake it and chew on it and stretch it. She especially loves to chew on the the cloth "flower petal" like part on the head.The cloth part can stretch if you really tug at it but in the two months my baby has gummed and pulled on it daily it hasn't come off once.
