Haba Wooden Clip Tra-la-la Review

I bought two of these clips to clip Max and the Caterpillar on to my son's car seat. All it took was a little tug and they would pop right off. Then the metal was bent so much that they wouldn't clip to anything else after. So they kind of sat around until my friend brought her two year old over and he chewed on them until the metal piece came off of the wooden piece and he nearly choked on it! We ended up throwing them both away. We added Dragolino and my son loves all 3 of his springy pull-type toys but I don't recommend these.

HABA Flower Butterfly Review

This was my favorite toy for my daughter when she was really little.It is on a little wooden teething ring which is fun and easy for tiny hands to grab.
Its also fun for baby to look at as Mom makes it "fly," and it makes a great krinkly sound!
Also the PERFECT toy to bring with you when you leave the house because its nice and small so it fits in the diaper bag.I even used to tie it on a string and hang it from my sling when I was wearing my baby out for a walk.She LOVED it because she had something to grab onto!

Haba Kringelring Toy Review

My son has been chewing on this since he was 4 months old and he is now one and still chews on it as well as uses it as a rattle.I like the fact that he is not chewing on plastic.The paint is non-toxic and does not come off.

The toy is also made from wood which is renewable vs. plastic which is a petroleum based product.

The product is heirloom quality as all Haba products are.

Rainbow Tower Review

My 1 year old daughter received the Haba Rainbow Tower as a gift for her 1st birthday.We have many Haba toys and they are made to the highest quality.We have never had any problems with any of them.However, my daughter nearly choked to death today on the top red piece on the Rainbow Tower.She managed to get the entire piece in her mouth and couldn't get it out.It was wedged in her mouth so tight that I couldn't get my fingers around it to pull it out.Thankfully I got it out in time.I would not recommend this toy for children under the age of 3.We were very lucky today!

Haba Perlina Clutching Toy Review

Glad I got this before it could be discontinued. It is very cute. The wooden beads & bell are held on by elastic cords & it seems very durable. I have pulled & pulled & nothing snapped, although at first I was a little leery: If the elastic cord broke there would be around 10 tiny choking hazards all over the place. It's a great toy & my nephew loved it. Havn't had a chance to try it out on our little one yet.

Piro Review

Piro is great.A very sturdy toy, and a very cute clown.I'm reassured that it passed German quality control as being nontoxic, because my daughter has diligently chewed on it, and undoubtedly consumed some of the paint.

Have you noticed the recent press about lead in the vinyl that the US testing agents feel is "safe" for our kids?Really?Lead is safe?Oh well, that is whyI avoid Chinese and American toys now.European standards are much more strict.

Anyway, a great, bendy little clown.Thumbs up from this dad.

Duck Duck Clutching Toy Review

My 6-month-old received this as a Christmas present.It was cute and we liked that it was made of wood.But after a few weeks of playing with it, teething on it, and carrying it around in the diaper bag it fell apart.It is made of small pieces, so it would be very unsafe if it fell apart while a baby was playing with it.I am very disappointed.

Clutching toy Rotundo Review

My son loves this toy! We got it for him for Christmas when he was 4 mo. He still plays with it at 14 months. The reverse side ( not shown) has a face painted on the middle part and the "petals" all around can be twisted and are quite flexible because they are attached with heavy duty string that has some elasticity. Now that he is older he tends to use it as a top spinning it bell side up, due to this the painted face on it has gotten a little scratched but I think it just adds a kind of "well-loved" charm. I have many fond memories of my son gumming this particular toy in his carseat. This will definitely remain in our family for a long time.

HABA Allezhoop Review

I just received this in the mail today for my six month old. I LOVE this toy, it is so colorful, well made and fun! He took to it right away and has played with it all day. It is easy for him to grab and put in his mouth, the little men are so cute and it makes a fun rattle sound when handled. The box also stated the product was made in Germany, i have had some HABA toys from China. I will update this review if i have any issues but so far very well worth the money vs. some breakable plastic toy made in China!

I try to buy wooden/European made toys for my baby to avoid all the toxic junk out there.This one had good reviews, so I bought it.My teething 6 month old immediately started chewing on it, and next thing I knew, her month was full of blue paint.Yes, I know the paint is supposed to be non-toxic, but what kind of quality is it, anyway?This is something I would expect from cheap Chinese-made junk, not from expensive toys made by a supposedly reputable German company.I had the same problem with Haba's Kringelring.Anyway, I am done with Haba and switching to Selecta (never once had a problem with their toys).

Salto Review

I wanted to get some wooden toys for my 3-month old daughter instead of the standard plastic ones, mainly to avoid the whole BPA issue.We didn't want to spend a lot of money on them but did want quality.This toy, while being slightly more expensive than others, is a great investment.My daughter clutches the sides and gnaws on the round ring, while the little colorful wooden parts are fun for her to watch.It's her favorite toy (if a 3-month old has favorites).It's exactly as it appears in the picture.The wooden stick in the middle seems sturdy and doesn't appear to have any "give" in it -- I worried it might break easily, but it has withstood my older two playing with it.A great investment!

Kringelring Review

Fun, safe, non-toxic, made in Germany. Great for grasping, mouthing, even shaking like a rattle. We were worried he might get pinched between the colored segments, but somehow it just doesn't create a a hazard at all.
