Lucky Mushroom Set Review

This is one adorable little set for an infant; small enough for a young baby to develop grasping and teething skills, is stimulating and brightly colored. I was disappointed, however, with the fact that the seller did not disclose the fact that it is "Made in China" and, "designed in Germany by Haba", as stated on the tag. Due to the inherent dangers, we are trying to get away from the toys made in China, and despite what manufacturers may claim about the production and inspection process, I did not appreciate the deception whether intentional or not.

Additionally, the dwarf's face appears to be a sticker or iron on transfer that will crack, peel, or otherwise wear off over time with use, and is not embroidered on as the butterfly decor on its outfit is. For the price, I would expect it to be a bit more durable.

Clutching toy Dwarf Review

It's small, soft and a very sweet little face for a baby to look at. The subtle rattling sound is in the pink ball on the hat. My 6 month old could not clutch it as easily as the Haba Kringelring or other Haba wooden teethers because it is rather stout for getting little fingers around! I see it as a toy to hold for and show to my baby, rather than something to just hand to him to play with on his own. The face is printed on (the reason it does not get 5 stars) but the butterfly is embroidered.

Flowery Ring Rattle Review

I have been concerned about lead paint in toys from China, so I was happy to find this German-made product instead.I gave this to my daughter for her first birthday and she loves it.She likes to chew on it and spin the face. I appreciate the solid wood construcion and the fact that the cloth part can be removed for easy washing.

Piro Review

Piro is great.A very sturdy toy, and a very cute clown.I'm reassured that it passed German quality control as being nontoxic, because my daughter has diligently chewed on it, and undoubtedly consumed some of the paint.

Have you noticed the recent press about lead in the vinyl that the US testing agents feel is "safe" for our kids?Really?Lead is safe?Oh well, that is whyI avoid Chinese and American toys now.European standards are much more strict.

Anyway, a great, bendy little clown.Thumbs up from this dad.
