12" Doll Lilli Review

Love this doll! It's a good size for my 2-year-old. Got it because I wanted to teach her about dressing and undressing. After looking at many dress-me dolls--so many bad ones!--Haba's line seemed by far the best in many ways (quality, cuteness, size, clothing design). I don't regret my choice! My daughter really enjoys Lilli. She doesn't seem that interested in dressing her yet, but she plays with her every day. Very sweet.

Miniland Fabric Ball by Haba Review

We bought this for our 7 month old and he enjoyed playing with it, but it is not well made.The stitching attaching the car to the ball came apart after only a week.The car was almost falling off of the ball and could have easily come off and he could have choked on it.

Haba Play Tent Dragon Cave Review

Well I saw this on a vacation last year in Switzerland and wanted it then but the store was closed.I ordered it in October for Christmas and I set it up when it came since I shopped early and wanted to be sure everything was good. I knew because of the advance purchase I wouldn't be able to return it.It set up easily and was really cool(at least I thought so, but I'm 43 not 3).The only problem I'm having is folding it back down to fit in the small carrying case.It does have a large footprint so make sure to check the measurements.There are other cool Haba tents but I wanted it freestanding like this one, not where I had to do a ceiling hook to keep it open like the others.

Educo Welcome Home Balcony Dollhouse Review

I purchased this dollhouse for my daughter and am exceptionally dissatisfied.I had hoped this would be good quality, non-toxic and fun for her to play with.Within a week to 10 days of playing with this, she developed a burn-like rash on both of her hands.We saw the doctor twice.She was put on daily Benadryl and we had to apply hydrocordisone cream to her hands.The rash did not go away, and continue to get worse until we removed this dollhouse from her playthings.What gives?When the dollhouse arrived, we also discovered that the inner wall was warped.I should have gone with Plan or Ryan's Room.

Soft Doll - Lotta - by HABA Review

I bought this doll for my 18 month old daughter for Christmas and she hasn't slept without it since! The clothes are colorful and much more durable than some other doll clothes she's received as gifts. Lotta has beans in her bum so that she can sit upright and has oodles of soft chenille hair that can actually be combed and put in a pony-tail. The doll is made of a nice durable canvas-type cloth and I continue to be impressed with its quality, especially with the tough love it gets from my toddler.

Soft Doll Amelie - by HABA Review

I got this doll for my one-year-old when she started showing an interest in baby dolls. It is very well made and I can tell it will last a long time. It is not really soft; it feels like it's packed tight with sand. (I'm sure it isn't, but that's what it feels like.) My daughter still snuggles it, though.

The one very minor complaint or warning I would have is that the skirt and shoes are difficult to get onto the doll (even for me), and the shirt and shoes have short strings for tying. No big deal if your child isn't very interested in dressing and undressing it over and over, demanding your help and screaming if you're too busy. ;)

Haba Souri Doll Review

This is a very well made, very attractive doll. We've had this doll almost a year now. She's held up to daily use by a two year old (tugging, dragging, pulling, throwing, tromping over, etc...) and she's still in great condition! Her clothes are still in great shape as they weren't worn much post Christmas Day so we can't comment on the durability, but the colors and fabric are bright and intact. We do plan to get her doll some extra outfits from this company & based on the appeal & durability of Souri, Yannik will be arriving this Christmas as a little a brother for her! Haba Dragonstone Castle Review

My son received this for his first birthday, and we love it! The castle has so many interesting features: a door that opens and closes, a bug and little man that slide along ropes, trees that rustle, a chicken that hides in a pocket, mirrored windows, and one see-through window. The princess and knight will be great for pretend play as my son gets older, and he thinks the dragon is great! He makes a unique rattling noise when shaken, and his head and tail wobble back and forth. My son would have enjoyed this toy earlier than 12 months, and I know it will be played with throughout his toddler years. A fantastic toy for creative play.

***Update: Now my son is almost 3 and we play with this castle frequently. The dragon often chases the princess and knight into their castle; however, when he is feeling nice, the dragon offers them rides on his back. This is a wonderful toy for pretending! My son is developing a fascination with things that verge on "scary" (dragons, ghosts, wolves, dinosaurs), and this toy allows him to create pretend scenarios that explore a slightly darker theme with such happy little characters - so appropriate and not-too-scary for a young preschooler.
